Today’s guest, Amelia Zachry talks deeply with us about her traumatic experience of being raped at 19 years old. She tells how that night has stayed with her for the past 20 years every single day. 

Amelia talks to us about rape culture and how her rape brought on a lot of PTSD, and later a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. 

Today, Amelia Zachry is an author on bipolar, suicide, relationships., family, and life after rape. Amelia is a wife, mom of two girls, and an avid advocate for normalizing mental illness and dismantling rape culture.
